I'm an independent developer with a genuine interest in long-term investing. Like many people, I spent years trying to make sense of when to buy, how much to invest, and whether I was doing it right. The more I learned about Dollar Cost Averaging, the more I realized how powerful — and underappreciated — this strategy is.
The problem? Most DCA calculators online are either too simple, paywalled, or buried inside platforms trying to sell you something. I wanted something different: a clean, honest, free tool that actually respects the user's intelligence.
So I built SimplyDCA.
Historical price data is sourced from Yahoo Finance, updated daily. Price forecasts use Monte Carlo simulation methodology — the same approach used in professional financial modeling.
